I extracted the image from the scan and cleaned it adding layers to the hair, the skin and another to eyes and mouth. I modified the hair's lines using a lot of brushes in various blue tones.
The background is composed of two layers: one with dark gradient other with flowers and butterflies.
To concluded I changed all image's blending mode to luminosity.
I just have free hours at night so took about one week to finished.
